Close to schools (100 meters to the Black Hill primary school), shops and bush walks. A 20 minute walk to the CBD. Five minutes walk to the top of Black Hill lookout, to see most of Ballarat and district. You can see Lake Wendouree from the up stairs. Great place to view the fireworks they have at the lake each year.
